A LITTLE BIT ABOUT TREE

Theresa Tree Matthews was born and raised in Gardner,
she is the youngest of five children to John & Geneva Polchlopek.
She raised her son in Ashburnham for 16 years
and returned to Gardner in 2013.

Tree enjoys entering cooking contests when the opportunity arises.
She has had great success in recent
years winning and placing in several local events.
She participates in a yearly event called Soup Wars.
It is a fund raiser where contestants make a soup for their charity.
In 2013 Tree took 3rd place with
her version of Tuscan Soup/Zuppa Tuscanno.

Her baking has excelled in recent years as well, and her most recent claim to fame is Best Apple Pie in New England 2014. Out of 30+ participants Tree's apple pie was chosen best for taste, texture, and presentation.
Her apple pear pie placed 3rd overall in the apple & other category.

In January of 2015, Tree decided to embark on taking her award winning apple pie to the masses. Tree the Kitchen Goddess had arrived, but it was up to the reception of the public if she was going to actively pursue it. Soon the pie pop was born and the rest as they say, is history...or in Tree's case HerStory!
